Join us for RSW's Dine-Around Event—a night of local food, drinks, networking, and insights from entrepreneurs and financiers. How do I register for Reno Startup Week?You can register online through our website by clicking the "Register" button on the homepage. Follow the prompts to complete your general admissionregistration. After you’ve completed the registration form, download the Whova app to access the full event schedule.

Can I register on-site?While we encourage all attendees to register in advance, you can register upon arrival to the event.

How do I register for individual sessions throughout the week?This is a free event, open to all, however, there are some session locations that have limited capacity. Those will be noted on the app, and you will need to reserve your spot by adding the session to your agenda. To add sessions to your personal agenda, find the calendar icon on the right side of the session and click the calendar icon. You can view your personal agenda by clicking “My Agenda” at the top of the screen next to “Full Agenda”. Here your sessions will automatically be organized by the date and time. You can easily unselect them to cancel a registration and remove it from your personal agenda.

Can I update my registration details?Yes, you can update your information in the Whova App. Select “home” in the bottom menu bar. In the top left corneryou’ll find your picture and first initial. Click there to edit your profile.

What time does check-in begin?Check–in will be open during the event, from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. There will be a check–in table at each venue for first–time arrivers to pick up their name tag.

What do I need to bring for check-in?If you haven’t already registered and downloaded the Whova app, a volunteer will assist you in getting those steps completed. Otherwise, there is nothing you need to bring to check-in to the event.

Where can I park?Most events will take place in downtown Reno. For daytime sessions, there is paid street parking around The Paloma and free street parking around the Innevation Center. There is also a paid garage on the corner of 1st and University St. For evening events, there is free parking available in the parking garage at The Row. For Thursday evening’s Startup Send-Off at RED, there is free parking available behind the Cinemark Century Park Lane 16 movie theater.

What is the best way to move between sessions at different venues?We’ve partnered with Bird to have scooter rentals available for those who would like them. Use promo code startup24 for $5 off! The Innevation Center and The Paloma are about ½ mile apart, or roughly a 10-minute walk. Breaks between sessions have been made long enough to account for attendees moving between locations.

Where can I find scooters at the venue?Scooters will be located outside of The Paloma and The Innevation Center each morning for attendees to easily move back and forth between these locations. Scooters can also be taken to The Row, 4th Street Brewery District and RED for the evening sessions.

How do I use the Bird scooters?You’ll need to download the Bird app. You can find more information on the Bird website.

Is transportation provided between the hotel and venue?Attendees are on their own for transportation, however, most venues are in downtown Reno, within walking distance of the hotel. Bird scooter rentals are also available.

What should I wear?Business casual attire is recommended for the event. However, feel free to dress comfortably according to your personal preference and the weather.

Will there be food and drinks available?Yes, coffee, water, and snackswill be available throughout the daytime sessions. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at each evening event, and heavy appetizers will be served on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening.There are also two luncheons on Tuesday and Thursday that require registration. For other meals, we highly recommend attendees check out the restaurants in The Basement andother local eateries indowntown and Midtown!
